U.S. and Canadian Students
Emory Plastic Surgery offers a four week clerkship for fourth year medical students from both the U.S. and Canada. Students must apply through the Visiting Student Application Service (VSAS) of the American Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC). The VSAS applications open April 1st for the next academic year.
Emory senior medical students can sign up for a two or four week rotation through the Office of Medical Education and Student Affairs (OMESA).
Students will work as part of the clinical team and participate in treating plastic surgery patients. The rotations will be at Emory University Hospital, Emory University Hospital Midtown, and the Emory Aesthetic Center. These rotations allow students to experience a wide variety of procedures in a variety of settings.
Required: USMLE 230 minimum score
International Students
International medical students interested in an Emory plastic surgery clerkship must submit an international visiting student application to the Emory University School of Medicine. Go here for more detailed information and the international visiting student application form.
Please note that a non-refundable $500 application fee will be required. If accepted, students must pay an additional registration fee of $3000 to the Emory University School of Medicine.
