We are proud to offer a premier fellowship in Endocrine Surgery, accredited by the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons (AAES). As a high-volume, high-acuity center, our program is uniquely positioned to provide extensive surgical training and expertise in the management of thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and functional pancreas diseases.
Program Highlights
High-Volume, High-Acuity Training: Our program is supported by five dedicated endocrine surgeons, ensuring a comprehensive exposure to a wide range of endocrine surgical conditions.
Exclusive Fellowship: We offer an intensive, one-year training program to one fellow per year, allowing for personalized mentorship and an immersive learning experience.
Cutting-Edge Surgical Techniques: Trainees will gain proficiency in both traditional and advanced surgical techniques, including:
Minimally Invasive Thyroidectomy and Parathyroidectomy: Emphasizing patient safety and cosmetic outcomes.
Adrenalectomy: Mastery in open, laparoscopic, robotic, and retroperitoneal approaches, preparing our fellows for any surgical scenario.

Emory University Hospital (EUH) is a tertiary academic center that has one of the highest case-mix indexes of any hospital in the country. For the ninth year in a row, U.S. News & World Report ranked EUH the No. 1 hospital in Georgia and metro Atlanta in its 2020-2021 Best Hospitals Guide.

- Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital (ESJH) is an acute care facility in the north metro area of Atlanta. ESJH was also ranked by U.S. News & World Report's 2020-2021 Best Hospitals Guide, achieving the level of the No. 2 hospital in Georgia and metro Atlanta.
