Our Fellowship Leaders
Dr. Maria Russell, Program Director of the Complex Surgical Oncology Fellowship, specializes in complex gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary malignancies and is an expert in hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemoperfusion. Her research focuses on identifying and improving outcomes in vulnerable oncology patients.
Dr. Seth Jason Concors serves as Associate Program Director of the Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship and the General Surgery Residency. He is also Director of the Surgical Oncology Research Fellowship at Emory University.
Dr. Concors’ clinical practice focuses on the surgical management of neuroendocrine tumors and peritoneal surface malignancies, including cytoreductive surgery and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC). He leads Emory’s Neuroendocrine Tumor Multidisciplinary Clinic and plays a central role in advancing multidisciplinary care for gastrointestinal cancers.
