Benefits
Each resident attends a comprehensive administrative orientation session at the beginning of the training program. A portion of the session is devoted to reviewing all elements of the benefits package and answering any questions regarding them. Visit Emory's Human Resources website for an additional summary of the benefits package.
Emory University offers each eligible resident, at no cost, the following group benefit plans:
-
Single Medical Coverage
-
Life Insurance
-
Long Term Disability Insurance
-
Accidental Death Insurance
In addition to the employer-provide benefits, eligible residents may enroll in optional benefits including family medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, and retirement plans. You contribute toward the cost of the optional benefits that you elect.
For the 2023-2024 plan year, Medical House Staff members have one medical plan option, the POS Plan. The POS Plan is a conventional medical plan where members pay co-pays for some services. For more details about this plan and all other benefit options, review the 2023-2024 Benefits Guide.
