Overview
The Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery offers a unique 12-month fellowship in the diagnosis and surgical management of Temporomandibular Disorders under the Division Chief, Dr. Gary Bouloux. Fellows actively participate in a robust clinical practice with significant exposure to a multitude of surgical treatments including arthrocentesis, level I and II arthroscopy, arthroplasty and total joint replacement. Annual case volumes exceed 250 with more than 150 advanced arthroscopic procedures and more than 75 total joint replacement cases per year. Comprehensive didactic education in all aspects of the diagnosis and management of temporomandibular disorders is also provided. The fellow will participate in research projects and is supported to travel to meetings including the annual meeting for the American Society of Temporomandibular Joint Surgeons.
