The Trauma, Acute Care Surgery, and Critical Care Fellowship is a two-year program composed of an American Association for the Surgery of Trauma (AAST)-accredited acute care surgery year and an ACGME-accredited critical care year. The program's fellows train at both Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta's only American College of Surgeons-verified Level I trauma center, and Emory University Hospital, a globally-renowned academic institution. At the completion of the program, fellows receive an AAST certificate of completion and are eligible to take the surgical critical care boards.
