The School of Medicine is located on Clifton Road, adjacent to Woodruff Circle (a bus zone). On the other side of the circle is Emory University Hospital and across the street is Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, the Emory Clinic, and the Winship Cancer Institute. Immediately to the north is the Woodruff Health Sciences Center.
Parking
There is no parking in the immediate vicinity of the school. The closest parking deck is at Michael Street Deck (550 Houston Mill Road, Atlanta, 30322). See details on the University's parking web site or contact the party you are visiting at the school for more information.

From Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
By Taxi
Follow the signs to Ground Transportation, located in the main terminal building, and you will find taxis waiting. The cost is approximately $35-$45 one-way.
By Shuttle
Follow the signs to Ground Transportation, located in the main terminal building. Shuttle service is available from the airport to major hotels as well as directly to the Emory campus.
Rideshare (Uber, Lyft)
These rideshare services have specific pickup locations. Uber picks up in the Rideshare zone at the domestic Ground Transportation area and also at the international terminal. Lyft picks up at the South Economy Lot and also at the international terminal.
By Public Transportation
Follow the signs to MARTA near Ground Transportation and you will enter the Airport station. One-way fare is $2.50 and is available from vending machines (accepting cash or credit). "Breeze" cards can be loaded with value based on number of trips (5, 15, etc.) or time period (1 day, 1 week, 1 month). Assistance is available. (More information, visit MARTA's guide to Breeze.)
From Airport Station, the easiest way to the Emory Campus
Ride any train Northbound to Lindbergh MARTA station. Exit station (being sure to "tap out" your card at the turnstile, which grants a bus transfer) and hop on the Route 6 Emory bus. Ask the bus driver to let you off at the stop for Emory University Hospital. When you exit, the school will be the building closest to you.
By Car
Many rental companies have locations in the airport. Once you have a vehicle, take I-85 North to the Clairmont Road exit and turn right onto Clairmont Road. Continue on Clairmont for approximately 3.5 miles until it intersects with North Decatur Road. Turn right and stay on North Decatur until it intersects with Clifton Road. Turn right on Clifton Road. From the North

Continue straight on Briarcliff approximately 2 miles to North Decatur Road. Turn right and follow North Decatur to Clifton Road and turn left. SOM is on the left, just past Emory University Hospital.
From the West

By Cliff Shuttle
Emory University offers a free shuttle system called Cliff, with routes running throughout campus as well as between Emory locations outside the main campus. No ID is needed. Buses link Emory University, Grady Memorial Hospital (Downtown Atlanta) and Emory University Hospital Midtown (Downtown/Midtown Atlanta). There is also a CCTMA shuttle that runs back and forth between the main Emory campus and Decatur MARTA station, in Downtown Decatur.

Take the Route 6 Emory bus from the northern (Inman Park) bus bay at Inman Park - Reynoldstown MARTA station. Exit station (being sure to "tap out" your card at the turnstile, which grants a bus transfer) and get on the bus. It leaves approximately every 30 minutes. Ask the bus driver to let you off at the stop for Emory University Hospital / Emory Clinic. When you exit, the school will be across the street, to the right of Woodruff Circle, where all the buses are pulling in and out.
