Our Mission
The Emory Radiology Sustainability Committee is dedicated to advancing environmentally responsible practices in medical imaging while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. The committee works to reduce the environmental footprint of radiology through initiatives focused on energy optimization, waste reduction, and sustainable resource utilization.
These efforts aim to improve operational efficiency, enhance patient care, reduce environmental impact, and support Emory’s broader institutional sustainability goals.

The Sustainability Committee, chaired by Dr. Aline Camargo, brings together a multidisciplinary group of faculty, residents, technologists, and administrative leaders committed to advancing sustainable healthcare practices.
