Quality drives everything we do in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences. From collaboration to improve workflows to best-in-class patient safety protocols validated by research, the Quality team is central to our tripartite mission. The team meets regularly to manage a wide variety of initiatives, complementing each other in expertise and skills. The activities the teams undertake aim to understand the processes in our department and to use that understanding to optimize efficiency. Through this process, we aim to contain costs, expand services, and improve the environment in which our teams work. In doing so, we advance the experience of our patients, families, and clinical colleagues.
