Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences

The Emory University School of Medicine's Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences is among the largest academic radiology department in the nation. The department includes 12 clinical divisions with more than 250 faculty members (clinical and research), and more than 135 residents and fellows.

Drawing upon our extensive healthcare system, dedication to excellence, commitment to education, diverse strengths, and collegial and collaborative culture, our fellowship programs are some of the best in the nation.

The opportunities for our diagnostic and interventional radiology residents as well as our nuclear medicine and medical physics residents are seemingly limitless here at Emory and include mentorship, teaching, research and technological innovation, volunteerism, and public service on the local, regional, and national levels.
