The Emory University School of Medicine's Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences is among the largest academic radiology department in the nation. The Department is spread across 11 divisions with more than 150 faculty members who also hold appointments at the Veterans Administration Hospital.

Our fellowship programs are some of the best, drawing upon our extensive healthcare system, dedication to excellence, commitment to education, diverse strengths, and collegial and collaborative culture.

The opportunities for our Radiology Residents are seemingly limitless here at Emory and include mentorship, teaching, research, volunteerism, and public service on the local, regional, and national levels.

For the majority of the year, our department gets together once a week, either in person or via teleconferencing, for Grand Rounds. The speaker is either from our own department, outside of our department but local (including non-Radiologist clinicians), or a Visiting Professor. This series is enriching for our trainees because it covers clinical topics and research, as well as administrative topics that should be of interest to a practicing Radiologist.
