Trainees

Trainees in our program are selected from a highly competitive pool of potential candidates from our large and diverse partnering institutions in Nigeria.  Their research skills are enhanced by a program that provides didactic and mentored research training by a multidisciplinary team of preceptors and protected time to gain skills and expertise in research approaches with a focus on HIV/women’s health research.  Through the training they receive in our program, trainees are equipped with the skill sets needed to conduct rigorous research capable of attracting extramural funding and finding local solutions to women’s health issues in the setting of HIV infection.
