Omoladun Olukemi Odediran holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree (with distinction) from Obafemi Awolowo University (O.A.U.), Ile -Ife, Nigeria. Interned at University College Hospital (U.C.H. ) Ibadan. A seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience spanning various Pharmacy practice sectors and held several leadership positions, including the National Pharmacy Manager at Medecins san Frontieres-France handling supply chain, regulatory affairs, new project set up and importation logistics. Completed MSc in Public Health with research focusing on retention in care and adherence to HIV treatment among women living with HIV/AIDS. Currently working with my mentor on interventions for unhealthy eating and physical inactivity using a faith-based setting. My area of research interest is non-communicable diseases and HIV. I am looking forward to starting my Doctoral degree. Emory Nigeria research Training Program has given me leverage in biostatistics and data analysis, the art of writing, and mentorship. In the first year of the long-term EN_RTP, I completed data collection and started writing my thesis. So no new publication yet, but some are awaiting review. Working with both home-based and U.S-based mentors has been so inspiring; they have been supportive and encouraging.
