My experience in the Emory-Nigeria Research Training Program:
I am a part of the second cohort of trainee on Emory-Nigeria RTP. I am still working on my proposed research. I have always worked with my Nigeria mentors (Professor AT Onajole and Professor SA Akanmu) and it has always been a wonderful working experience. I also have a US mentor on this grant, it has been an awesome experience working with Professor Jessica Maples-Keller. My experience with Emory-Nigeria RTP has been wonderful and it has really helped me with advancing in my career as a lecturer and as a researcher. I have been able to learn more on the use of SPSS, improve my skill on grant writing and presently learning how to write programming using R studio.
