I am Oluseye Ajayi, a medical physician with 12 years progressive experience in public health research and programs. I have a post graduate fellowship of National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria and a Master degree in Public Health, hoping to acquire doctorate degree in Public Health. I have vast experience in health service research working as consultant on many country-wide research programs and I am currently working as a research manager with APIN Public Health Initiatives, Nigeria on a CDC funded research project aimed at mitigating the effect of COVID-19 pandemic on essential services in Nigeria. I am passionate about advancing health system in Nigeria through evidence- based interventions, with focus on HIV program, maternal and child health interventions. I am motivated to apply for the long-term fellowship of EMORY Nigeria, HIV Research Training Program. EMORY research training program will advance my research skills in providing scientific evidence for public health interventions especially in HIV program and women’s health. The program will also enhance my skills in grant writing and administration and enable me in applying for financial support for my research activities.
