- Completion of Diagnostic Radiology Residency
- Board eligibility in Radiology
- According to the new program requirements for ACGME-accredited programs, programs should fill first with those who have successfully completed a diagnostic radiology residency program accredited by the ACGME or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Electronic Residency Application Service and National Resident Matching Program
Our program participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) provided through the Association of American Medical Colleges. ERAS will be used to transmit applications, letters of recommendation, transcripts, and other supporting credentials from applicants. For further information on this process, please view the website.
Based on ERAS and NRMP guidelines, we only consider application and application materials submitted through ERAS. Application material sent via email or direct mail will not be considered.
The following items must be in your ERAS Common Application before your application will be reviewed:
- Personal statement
- USMLE scores (at minimum, steps 1 and 2 (both CS and CK) and step 3 if completed.
- Current CV, Research experience/publications/presentations
- Three letters of recommendation (1 from program director)
Timeline
Neuroradiology Fellowship ERAS
Nov 21: Applicants begin applying to programs
Dec 1: Programs begin receiving applications
Dec - March: Review applications and interviews
May 31: ERAS season officially closes
June: Match
July 1 (one year later): Fellows begin training
All radiology trainees are selected through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). In order to participate in this program, you must register through this service, available online at www.nrmp.org.
Interviews
Interviews will be virtual for 2020-2021 interview cycle. Interviews will be held on Mondays or Thursdays, with various interview dates available December through March. Virtual introductions, a new virtual tour and a department overview webinar will be available to applicants before virtual interviews with faculty and fellows. This schedule allows candidates to learn about the program and its philosophies from both faculty and fellows.
