Your vision care starts with a routine exam
The Emory Eye Center annually fields more than 120,000 patient visits - many for routine check-ups.
The 60+ ophthalmologists and optometrists at the Emory Eye Center are prepared to handle the full spectrum of vision care needs. Because we collaborate closely with multiple subspecialties in the Department of Ophthalmology and the Emory School of Medicine, we can make swift and informed referrals for advanced care if your routine exam reveals the need for further diagnosis or treatment.
It all starts with an exam. Among the routine services we regularly provide are:
- Yearly vision check-ups/eye dilations
- Eye dilations for patients with diabetes
- Contact lens fittings and adjustments
- Eyeglass prescriptions and adjustments
- Assessments for glaucoma
- Assessments for cataracts
- Emergency care for eye trauma
- Referrals for medical or surgical management of eye disorders, diseases, or trauma
