Your My Chart account
When you make your first appointment by phone, you will be instructed on how to set up a My Chart account online. With My Chart (and the My Chart app) you will be able to communicate with your doctor, request prescription refills, and manage appointments from your phone or computer.
Make time for your visit
You will want to familiarize yourself with these driving directions and the EEC parking facilities before your visit. We also recommend you consult with your provider to determine how much time to allot for your appointment. Most consultations require at least two hours, but some specialties require as many as four to conduct all necessary tests.
Arrange your referrals
If you have been referred to the Emory Eye Center by another physician, please have that provider fill out one of these referral forms and fax it to us before your visit. You can download it directly from this website! This will allow us to confer with the referring physician before we see you in the clinic.
Bring your paperwork
Insurance cards, personal identification, and some special instructions. Here are a few things you want to bring (or do) to make your appointment go smoothly.
