The Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center and affiliated Cognitive & Behavioral Neurology Program at Emory University consists of a multi-specialty group of physicians, neuropsychologists, nurses, and social worker with specialists from Neurology, Psychiatry, Pathology, and other departments from both Emory and Morehouse Medical Schools. The program specializes in treating patients with memory loss, dementia, and cognitive dysfunction and has several ongoing research projects. Specific interests include Alzheimer's disease, familial dementias and genetic studies, mild cognitive impairment, cholinergics and anticholinergics in delirium and dementia, vascular dementia, epidemiology of dementia in African-Americans, management of behavioral and psychotic symptoms, dementia associated with Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, and other movement disorders.
