Mission
The Work-Life Balance Committee is dedicated to promoting a culture where faculty can thrive personally and professionally by supporting the balance among work responsibilities, caregiving roles and individual fulfillment. Our focus is on assisting faculty caring for children, aging parents or ill family members; navigating parental leave and family-centered policies and sustaining personal passions such as artistic pursuits, athletics and community engagement. Guided by this commitment, the committee advances initiatives that provide practical resources, foster family-friendly departmental practices, facilitate peer connection and honor the diverse pursuits that unite our faculty community.
