Research
Focus
- I study voiding dysfunction in older adults, and nocturia (waking at night to void) in particular. Nocturia is strongly associated with poor quality of life, impaired sleep, accidental falls, and mortality. I employ different investigative techniques including randomized clinical trials, epidemiology, secondary data analysis, and pathophysiological mechanisms.
