More than 850 guests gathered in the Georgia Aquarium Oceans Ballroom to help celebrate Grady's healthcare heroes in March 2019. The sold-out event raised over $1.4M towards Grady's lifesaving care, and an additional $86K+ onsite to provide scholarships for veterans transitioning out of the military into Grady's EMS Academy. This impactful and heart-warming event was co-chaired by Celeste and H. James Dallas (Grady Memorial Hospital Corporation board member and retired SVP, Medtronic, Inc.), and Ashley and Bill Rogers (CEO, SunTrust), and hosted by the legendary Monica Kaufman Pearson.

As it has in its nine-year tradition, the White Coat Grady Gala centered on the stories of Grady patients and patient family members, and the compassionate healthcare providers who saved or enhanced their lives, highlighting the incredible impact Grady makes each day.
