Anna Newton-Levinson
Overview
Dr. Newton-Levinson is an applied researcher, working in community engaged approaches to research and evaluation to advance equitable access to sexual and reproductive health services and includes prior work with: UCSF, CARE, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Her interests and expertise focus on health services, mixed methods research, and complex program evaluation. Most of her work has focused on reducing disparities in access to care and in health outcomes including STIs, contraception, maternal health, and abortion. Her focus also involves study of the contexts which shape inequities, and which must be addressed to better meet the needs of individuals.
