Emory's fully accredited Gynecology and Obstetrics Residency Program provides a nurturing training environment in a metropolitan setting with a diverse patient population. We are known nationally for excellence in patient care, clinical and basic science research, and educating the next generation of medical specialists.

Resident Program Overview

Annually, our residency program is approved for nine categorical positions each in of the four years. Of the graduating class of 2018, five residents entered fellowship, three entered private practice, one entered academic practice.

How to Apply

On average, we receive over 900 applications for nine categorical positions. In the past five years, 67% of our graduates accepted fellowships, 1% entered academic medicine, and 27% joined private practices.
