MESSAGE FROM THE DIVISION DIRECTOR
Emory University School of Medicine has a rich and enduring legacy leading advanced gynecologic care for women. With the rapid pace of new surgical techniques and innovative research in the treatment of gynecologic disease, the Department has grown and heavily invested in the Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS). The Division serves women with pelvic floor disorders through high quality patient care, innovative educational programs, and state-of-art research. The scope of our Division's practice includes evidence-based care for the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and sexual dysfunction. Our Division also provides advanced minimally invasive gynecology for women with endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and abnormal bleeding. We have assembled a diverse health care team that includes two fellowship-trained urogynecologists.

Patient Care
The division provides a complete range of urogynecological services. We offer comprehensive evaluation, management, and treatment options for pelvic floor dysfunctions including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, fecal incontinence, and genitourinary fistulas. For women with complex pelvic floor issues, we employ a multidisciplinary model for care that incorporates specialists from gynecology, urology, colorectal surgery, and physical therapy.
