She/Her/Hers
After receiving her BA in English at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, Erica attended law school at the University of Georgia School of Law. Shortly following graduation, she realized that legal work was not for her and began to look into other career paths. She became interested in medical school while volunteering as a grant writer for a women’s health clinic. She first became interested in psychiatry while working in a clinic for homeless patients prior to starting medical school, and she decided during her third year of medical school that she couldn't imagine doing anything but psychiatry with the rest of her life. In her free time, Erica enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She also enjoys baking, listening to podcasts and taking weekend trips to nearby towns.
