Sharon Bergquist MD
Overview
Sharon Horesh Bergquist is an assistant professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine and a primary care physician at the Emory Clinic. She received her undergraduate degree in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University in 1993 and her medical degree from Harvard Medical School in 1997. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston in 2000 and joined the faculty at Emory that same year.
Dr. Bergquist takes care of a broad range of patients in her clinical practice. She has been named one of America's Top Physicians by Consumers' Research Council of America since 2004 and received a national Patients' Choice Award in 2008. Her clinical interests include disease prevention, health promotion, and comprehensive chronic disease management.
