Save the date! Health Equity Day 2025

The DOM RYSE Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council hosts an annual Heath Equity Day each May. The department-wide event aimed to raise awareness and encourage action around the systemic health disparities that exist across racial, ethnic, cultural, and social groups. Health Equity Day is also a major part of Emory’s Diversity and Inclusion Week and recognizes interventions and research centered on health equity across the entire school of medicine.

2024 Event Recap | Watch 2024 Presentations

RYSE, in partnership with the Office of Health Equity at Grady, will be hosting the 5th annual Health Equity Day on May 20, 2025.

For the first time, Health Equity Day will be a hybrid event, engaging communities both virtually via Zoom and in person at the Trauma Auditorium at Grady Hospital. The theme for next year’s event will be Community Partnerships. More information will be announced in the upcoming months, so stay tuned!
