Jison Sim
Overview
Dr. Sim attended the University of Miami for her undergraduate degree. She joined the active duty military upon graduating from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006 then underwent post-graduate training in internal medicine at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium at Brooke Army Medical Center. She practiced as a general internist while stationed in Korea before returning to training for a rheumatology fellowship at the National Capital Consortium at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Dr. Sim served as a staff rheumatologist at the Eisenhower Army Medical Center and faculty at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and the Medical College of Georgia at Georgia Regents University before joining the faculty at Emory in 2015.
Dr. Sim has a special interest in the veteran population and her clinical work is based at the Atlanta VA Medical Center dealing with a wide-spectrum of rheumatologic conditions. She is also involved in clinical education of students, residents, and fellows from both Emory and Morehouse School of Medicine.
