Joanna Schindler
Overview
Dr. Joanna Schindler is the Medical Director of PreAdmissions Assessment and Testing at Grady Hospital. Her clinical responsibilities include developing local guidelines for preoperative testing, supervising midlevel providers who evaluate all outpatients presenting to Grady for surgical and interventional procedures, and meeting with various services in the hospital to develop an interdisciplinary approach to managing complex patients.
As Director of Medical Student Education, she serves as the clerkship director for both the required one week anesthesiology clerkship and the four week Anesthesia for Surgical Subspecialties elective.
