Amit Prabhakar
Overview
Dr. Amit Prabhakar is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at Emory University School of Medicine. His current roles include serving as the Chief of Anesthesiology and Associate Medical Director of the Cardiothoracic ICU at Emory University Hospital Midtown. He also serves as a Co-director for the Emory School of Medicine Healthcare Management Track. His research interests include process and system management, quality improvement, multi modal analgesia, resuscitation end points, POCUS, and acute kidney injury. He currently serves on committees within the ASA, SOCCA, and SCCM and regularly lectures nationally on a variety of topics.
