Chris is originally from Atlanta, GA. He did his undergraduate training at Wake Forest University where he majored in Biology. He then came back to Georgia and attended medical school at Emory University School of Medicine where he also completed a Master's of Clinical Research. His residency in Emergency Medicine was completed at the University of Cincinnati where he also served as a Helicopter EMS Flight Physician for 4 years. He and his wife have 2 little Kids under 3 years old so most of his time outside of work involves playing with them, but any other free time will be spent cooking (BBQ or Italian) or working on miscellaneous woodworking projects.
Academic interests: Mechanical Circulatory Support, Research, and the ED/ICU interface
Future plans: Splitting time between Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, and Research
