Caitlin completed her undergraduate studies at Emory University, majoring in Psychology and was recognized with the Emory Graduating Woman of Excellence Award. Upon graduation, she worked with AmeriCorps for one year, serving as an in-class aid for fifth grade students in an under-resourced elementary school in the Bronx. Caitlin went on to complete medical school at Loyola University’s Stritch School of Medicine where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She was an active leader in her class, serving as Social Chair and also as a mentor for junior students. Caitlin has diverse research interests, having designed a scholarly project on healthcare associated anxiety in pediatric patients and looking at the use of levetiracetam on the length of intubation for patients with neuropsychiatric conditions.
