Ela Salar Dini graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences School of Medicine and has spent the last five years at Yale University working on clinical trials of novel Alzheimer’s Disease treatments, including a first-in-human trial of a silent mGluR5 modulator. She has previously worked as a physician in Iran, including working in inpatient and emergency setting. Ela has also volunteered her time in soup kitchens and children’s care homes. She has published nine peer reviewed manuscripts (with more already submitted) in journals like Neuroimage, Journal of Child and Adolescent Psychopharmacology, Journal of Psychiatric Research and American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry. She enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures, hiking and kayaking and watching science fiction films.
