Caroline grew up in Washington DC and earned an undergraduate degree in public health from Tulane University while engaging in multiple international projects including in Denmark and Uganda and an internship with Doctors Without Borders. She went on to graduate from the University of Queensland School of Medicine Ochsner Clinical School, a training program combining preclinical education in Australia and clinical clerkships in Louisiana, where she was president of the Global Health Interest Group. She is interested in Global Mental Health and Reproductive Psychiatry. She enjoys travelling as well as running, hiking and gastronomy.
