Francesca attended the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Fla., and then Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, so she is no stranger to the Atlanta heat! She has a long history of service, leadership and mentorship alongside her stellar academic record. At Baylor she completed the four-year Care of the Underserved Pathway, which allowed her to tailor research and elective opportunities to work with underserved populations, toward her ongoing efforts to reduce healthcare disparities and decrease mental health stigma. Her consistent community volunteer work earned her a Dean’s Distinction in Service Learning for consecutive years throughout medical school. She expresses her artistic side through film, photography, ceramics and attending concerts.
