Emory Autism Center is pleased to accept applications for the Autism Foundation of Georgia Postdoctoral Fellowship. This exciting fellowship is designed to foster the professional growth of dedicated psychologists, who are driven to provide innovative services and support for autistic individuals and their families and care systems throughout the lifespan, with strong opportunities for work with transition age throughout adulthood.
Qualifications
- Candidates should have a doctoral degree (PhD, PsyD) in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated commitment to advancing inclusion and building belonging among neurodiverse individuals and communities.
Fellowship Details
- Duration: One year, with the possibility of a second-year extension
- Fellows will gain valuable experience in various areas, including:
- Direct service and support across the lifespan (toddlers through adults) and their families including psychotherapy and assessment skills
- Supervision
- Teaching
- Collaboration with our diverse programs:
- Opportunity to engage in ongoing research initiatives focused on:
- Transdiagnostic mechanisms for mental health in autistic adults
- Community-based early diagnosis
