Individualized Transition to Adulthood Plan (ITAP) services are dedicated to improving the transition planning process for autistic students as they journey from high school and adolescence into adulthood. ITAP provides support at the student, school and system level, with a strong emphasis on starting the planning process early and focusing on creating opportunities to develop functional skills that will result in meaningful experiences after high school graduation.
Our services include
- Comprehensive transition assessments
- Training and technical assistance for educators and related professionals
- Support in developing a school- and community-based Transition Program
- Pre-Employment Transition Services (GVRA)
- Interagency Collaborative Partnerships
- Parent support, education and empowerment

Because transition planning requires a robust collaborative approach, our team and project have authentic and productive relationships with critical state and regional agencies and stakeholders such as the Department of Public Health, the Department of Education, Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency, employers, service providers, and so much more.
