"Each year during interview season, the department faculty and residents come together with a goal of attracting the brightest medical students from across the nation who are the best fit for the Winship Department of Radiation Oncology," says Physician Residency Director Pretesh Patel, MD.
Xiaofeng Yang, PhD, residency director of the medical physics residency program says, "It is a pleasure to add such accomplished candidates to both radiation oncology residency programs and we look forward to their contributions to our department."
The selected physician trainees will begin their Emory-based internships in July 2020 and the medical physicist trainees will begin their residency training in the department at that time.
