  • Fun fact about you: I lived in Japan for 2 years 

 Prior to PA school I worked Fire/Rescue, spent some time in the United States Marine Corps, worked on an ambulance and as a medical assistant in outpatient orthopedics. I currently live with my wife, Lauren, and our dog, Willow. I enjoy anything outdoors; SCUBA diving, rock climbing, backpacking, etc.

What drew you to the PA profession? 

What drew me to the PA profession was the adaptability and leadership. I was looking for a career where I could explore different areas of medicine and be able to directly impact people’s lives. When I found the PA profession, I immediately knew it was everything I was looking for in a career.

Describe a favorite moment of your Emory experience: 

My favorite part of the Emory experience is the comradery shared with my classmates. Emory does a good job at creating a non-competitive environment for us. When the class sees someone struggling with academics or anything else in life, we come together and help that person in whatever way that we can. I love to see my classmates and the Emory staff come together to help everyone succeed.
