Emory PA Program Celebrates 50 Years of Excellence Recent Events

The Emory PA Program will be hosting a variety of events this year to celebrate our 50th year as a Physician Assistant Program!

The Emory PA Program kicked off the 50th-anniversary celebration on October 5 with the opening ceremony for the Traveling PA Profession Banner and Online Exhibition in the School of Medicine lobby.

The White Coat Ceremony for the Class of 2022 and the Class of 2023 took place on October 6.

The Emory PA Program had 71 registrants for this student-run event and earned $1100. The students decided to donate these funds to the Emory Farmworker Project.

Emory Farmworker Project

Life-changing care for Georgia's migrant workers

Through the Emory Farmworker Project, our faculty and trainees provide free on-site health care to more than 2,000 farmworkers and their families. These community members lack access to even basic medical care, and our volunteers gain experience in providing culturally sensitive, compassionate care for a wide range of health concerns to the people who need it most.
