COVID-19 MedTox Webinars
During the COVID-19 Pandemic Emergency the medical toxicology, clinical toxicology and poison center associations from around the world have partnered to deliver a weekly briefing entitled: Medical and Public Health Considerations of COVID-19.
The American College of Medical Toxicology (ACMT) is pleased to host this program, in partnership with the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology (AACT), the American Association of Poison Control Centers (AAPCC), the European Association of Poison Centers and Clinical Toxicologists (EAPCCT), the Asia Pacific Association of Medical Toxicologists (APAMT), and Middle East & North Africa Clinical Toxicology Association (MENATOX).
Each briefing will consist of approximately 30 minutes didactics, 10 minutes reports from health care practitioners working on the front lines, and 20 minutes for a Q&A where those from around the world can communicate with each other.
The briefings will take place on Wednesdays at 3 p.m. EDT. Information about the briefing will be emailed to all members and other interested parties 24-48 hours prior to the scheduled presentation. The goal is to continue these on a weekly basis during the emergency. Register for the webinars here.
