Allied Health Anatomy
Faculty from Cell Biology teach anatomy to the Allied Health Physicians' Assistant (PA) students. Part of this includes using Augmented Reality to teach anatomy.
Course Description: Active dissection of a human cadaver is the foundation for this study of human anatomy. Interactive augmented reality is employed in small group learning sessions to prepare students before each dissection. Students present their findings to peers and faculty following each dissection. Through interactive investigation, critical thinking, active dissection and presentation, students learn a strong foundation of anatomy.
