The Academy was formed in 2007 to further the mission of Emory Healthcare and to help fulfill our quality promise to patients of impeccable outcomes, delivered safely, with excellent service.
- Leadership for Healthcare Improvement - This is a 2-day course designed to give health care leaders an introduction to quality improvement.
- Practical Methods for Healthcare Improvement - This intensive interprofessional course is designed to develop local quality improvement leaders who are capable of independently planning and conducting improvement projects and who can serve as resources to others as part of their career progression. The course also covers a broad range of related topics to support growth as leaders. The format includes about 40 hours of scheduled online class sessions spaced over 6 months plus self-paced learning, all structured around a project.
Interprofessional Team Skills for Quality Improvement
This 7 session course guides teams through quality improvement projects, fosters interprofessional teamwork and builds skills to teach QI in clinical teams. This course starts in the fall and runs through mid-spring. The call for applications will occur in July each year.
