Overview
Emory faculty surgeons in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery also treat facial and craniofacial trauma at Grady's Level I trauma center. "Grady provides a truly unique experience in the volume and severity of facial trauma that cannot be found in many Level I trauma centers in the country," says Dr. Bouloux.
Additionally, Emory oral and maxillofacial surgeons provide surgical services at Grady's oral and maxillofacial surgery outpatient clinic, including temporomandibular joint surgery, oral pathology (cysts/tumors), treatment of dental infections, jaw reconstruction, general anesthesia (for wisdom teeth), and single and multiple tooth extractions.
