Board-certified PA and MD preceptors are needed. Our students complete required rotations in Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, General Surgery, In-patient Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Psychiatry. Other disciplines are utilized during clinical electives.

The goal of the Georgia Preceptor Tax Incentive Program is to help educational programs seeking clinical preceptors.
Who is eligible?
All licensed Georgia MD/DO, NPs and PAs who provide uncompensated clinical rotations.
Does PTIP apply to all types of rotations?
Yes, the program is applicable to any type of rotation, the program is no longer limited to traditional primary care rotations.
How many Tax Credits are available?
Tax credits are available for up to 10 rotations. This means that a physician preceptor could earn up to $8,500 in tax credits and APRN and PA preceptors up to $6,375 for the calendar year.
Would you like to mentor a first-year PA student?
This is an excellent opportunity for graduate PAs or Physicians to share their expertise, but on a more limited scale than having a student for a rotation. Students complete an HPI and ROS during the fall semester and do patient H&Ps exams during the spring and summer semesters
