Why Emory EM?
I chose Emory Emergency Medicine because it offers the perfect blend of high-acuity training, a diverse patient population, and a strong commitment to social medicine. As someone deeply invested in advocacy, service, and community-centered care, I was drawn to Grady’s legacy of serving the underserved and the program’s emphasis on health equity. Emory also offers excellent trauma exposure and critical care training, all within a supportive academic environment that encourages growth and leadership.

5- year plan
In five years, I hope to be involved in academic medicine - mentoring students, teaching residents, and leading initiatives that focus on health equity and social emergency medicine. I also want to stay active in community outreach, whether through mobile clinics or partnerships with local organizations.
What would you be doing if you weren’t in Emergency Medicine?
My plan B is to open a cozy cookie shop that also hosts baking classes. Because if I can’t heal people with medicine, I’ll heal them with warm cookies.
