Why Emory EM?
I was fortunate enough to complete an away rotation with Emory EM and it was the one month of 4 years of medical school where I truly felt that I was living out my "Why" within medicine. The patient population that is served inside the walls of Grady Memorial is truly incomparable and I am so privileged to be among the group who serves them. Additionally, the healthcare providers that self-select to be here is a special population and I could not be more proud to be among them.
Interest within EM?
Street Medicine, Event Medicine
What would you be doing if you weren’t in Emergency Medicine?
If I weren't in EM, I am unsure if I'd be in medicine at all. I probably would have tried to figure out how to coach college basketball or get into athletic training in division 1 or pros.
Fun Fact
I have gotten a tattoo done in 4 different countries! (USA, Uganda, Netherlands, Costa Rica)
What would your superpower be?
Never needing to consume water...only Diet Coke...without any health repercussions. Or being able to be in two places at once: napping, and anywhere else.
