Why Emory EM?
I chose Emory EM because it is a strong academic program with vast resources and opportunities to excel as a clinician and researcher. The opportunity to train at Grady is unparalleled with the ability to care for a diverse and vulnerable patient population, manage complex pathology and critically ill patients, gain a profound trauma experience and abundant hands-on experience with procedures. It is great to be back in Atlanta and working alongside physicians that I have always looked up to and have been my mentors for many years. It is very humbling to give back to my community and be able to take care of the patient population that had the patience and willingness to see me learn back when I was a student.
Interest within EM?
I am interested in ultrasound and/or critical care and/or an administrative fellowship
