The primary care doctors at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's Hughes Spalding hospital offers care for children from birth to age 18. We are proud that our Primary Care Clinic is a patient-centered medical home. We work with a team of health care professionals to insure comprehensive care for children. Our team consists of MDs, nurse practitioners, nurses and medical assistants, nutritionists, lactation specialists, interpretive services, social workers, respiratory therapists, nurse navigators, and a behavioral health specialist.

Adolescent Medicine at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Hughes Spalding is staffed by Emory physicians who are board certified in Adolescent Medicine and serves teens and young adults from ages 12 to 21. We offer a number of services that affect adolescents - including eating disorders, depression/psychology, nutrition, menstrual concerns, birth control, sexually transmitted diseases, substance abuse, acne, and LGBTQ needs. Our doctors provide in-clinic consultative services to referring pediatricians and family doctors as well as provide primary care services to teens and young adults. The management of both chronic and acute conditions in adolescence is of extreme importance as it affect long term health outcomes.

The Center for Safe and Healthy Children promotes the safety, protection and well-being of children through advocacy, as well as the identification, assessment and prevention of child abuse.
The Stephanie V. Blank Center for Safe and Healthy Children is a child advocacy center that provides the following services in a safe, child-friendly environment staffed by a team of professionals with extensive pediatric experience: comprehensive medical and forensic evaluations, behavioral health assessment and counseling, professional training, community education and research, collaborative partnerships within the community, and telemedicine and distance learning.
