1st Annual Adult Sickle Cell Research Day

We are inviting adult patients with sickle cell disease to join us for a day dedicated to education, empowerment and advancements in adult sickle cell research.

What to Expect

- Join us for an engaging and informative event featuring keynote speaker Dr. Mark Gladwin, Dean of the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
- 12:30 PM - breakout sessions will focus on Women’s Health Studies and Drug Trials
- 1:30 PM - breakout sessions will cover Sickle Cell Biology Research and Transfusion Studies.
- We’ll conclude the day with a special community advisory board, where past research participants will share their experiences and answer your questions.
